Israel Tour 2011
Join us on another life-changing journey to the Holy Land- from March 31-April 12, 2011. Spring is such a beautiful time in Israel. The hillsides are alive with wildflowers and the skies are a crystal blue, having shed the drab gray of the winter. The twelve days we are in Israel will truly bring the Bible to life for you. Understanding Prophecy - Brown Bag Lunch and Discussion
Each luncheon consists of a discussion of the significant current events as they relate to the prophetic texts. We also spend time looking at particular prophetic passages seeking to gain understanding of what the prophet is reminding us.

Because God does not take the summer off, neither will we – or at least we won’t take the whole summer off. From volcanoes to earthquakes, from deficits that boggle the mind to nations in collapse, and from Iran’s threats to Hezbollah’s rockets the world seems to teeter above the abyss. Yet God is in control. I invite you to come and join with other “signs of the time watchers” for lunch and dialogue both from the Word and the newspapers.

I will look forward to sharing with you, so bring your lunch (beverages are provided) and join in a fast-paced 90 minutes of connecting the Bible with our world.

The Prophcy luncheons are held from 11:30 - 1:00 at the Village Center.

Reader’s Club
Although information comes in many forms these days, reading a good book and then discussing it with friends provides a tremendous source of both blessing and encouragement. The Fall 2010 selections and the dates for the discussions group are:

Tuesday, September 21- Counterfeit Gods, the latest from the pen of Timothy Keller. This book is sure to open eyes to see how easily we can and do form idols in our lives. I found this book to be convicting. I am confident you will find this book to be one that reaches into your heart with timeless truths. Click here for discussion questions.

Tuesday, November 16- The Jesus You Can't Ignore, by John MacArthur.

Reader's Club meetings are held form 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. No registration is required. Beverages are provided. You are invited to come and share in these fast paced dialogues over these important book selections.
