VILLAGE SCHOOLS' BIBLE SURVEY CORRESPONDENCE COURSE

PACE: Flexibility and Accountability

The Village Schools Cover-to-Cover Survey of the Bible is designed so that you are able to complete this entire, 36-lesson survey of the Bible in only nine months. However, the Bible Survey Correspondence Course does allow you the flexibility to determine and commit to your own systematic pace for each term of study: You decide when you want to begin each term of study, and you set your own essay submission schedule.

You will register and submit payment prior to the beginning of each term of study. At that time, you will present your essay submission schedule to the Village Schools Office. Your essay schedule is your commitment to a list of dates when each of your essays will be presented. If you encounter unforeseen circumstances and are unable to submit your essay on the agreed-upon date, you may contact the Village Schools office to request an extension of up to one week.

COST:

The fee per term is $90 ($140 per couple) which includes postage (within the USA), textbook, lectures, essay reading and commenting and evaluations and the review of your final at the end of the term.

PROCEDURE:

Once you are registered as a student, we will mail you a textbook and audio cassette lectures. Then, according to your commitment at the time of registration, we will follow this procedure for each lesson:

1. You will choose your topic for that lesson's essay paper from the list of essay topics and questions that have been provided in your workbook.

2. Read your assigned textbook lesson, from 12 to 15 pages in length, and the Scriptures for that lesson.

3. Write down your thoughts on one of the suggested topics, or on the questions you have received. If you have questions that arise during your reading and writing, please include them in your paper. Email or mail this "paper" to Village Schools.

4. You will soon discover when you become a Village School student, that a major emphasis of the teachers is to give encouragement to the students. We will read, make comments, grade and email (or mail, if you prefer) a copy of your paper to you.

5. Listen to the appropriate audio tape lecture, approximately two hours in length. The lecture will clarify some of the highlights of the Scripture you have read.
